You know what is the worst thing when it's still early in the year? Slacking. I can't stop slacking on studying these days. This really sucks. My school's next monthly test is just around the corner, school teachers have not complete teaching and yet, I am slacking. I really got to do something! *slaps myself* Ouch.

Friends.
friend (frěnd) n.
A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement: friends of the clean air movement.
Friend A member of the Society of Friends; a Quaker.
tr.v. friend·ed, friend·ing, friends Archaic To befriend.

People say friends come and go. But some friends remain forever. Everyone in this world will have friends no matter what status, gender or even race. Without friends, life would be pointless. Like what Pn Yap said the other day, "Without friends, going to school is just pointless. You have to drag yourself to school like a compulsory daily routine." You befriend with someone who you can be with or hang around with. Someone comfortable to be with and not someone just because of the same religion. You don't befriend someone you don't like and make them change. But, when a friend changes from good to bad, we let them know because we support them. We want to do what's right for them.
"Yuuki wo misetsuketemo tsuyogatte mo, hitori de wa ikirarenai" from Stephanie's Friends means "Even if we put on a courageous facade, we cannot live alone".
"Okane ga ne atte mo tomodachi wa kaenai. Nani mo nakute mo ne minna ga irun da" from Ayumi Tsunematsu's Tomorrow means "Even if you have money, you can’t buy friends. Even if I don’t have anything, everyone (friends) is with me".
Befriending someone doesn't mean you have to like or do the same thing as him/her. It doesn't mean that that you have the same priority as him/her. But the most important thing is supporting one another in what they are doing and understanding them truly. You can't judge a friend by their religion, belief or even age. Judge them for who they truly are.
If I were to let you choose a friend between a person who is always around you but doesn't really care or a person who cares for you but isn't there, which will you choose?
